Advisor Kum-Sil Kang emphasized the need to actively consider carbon-negative technologies such as biochar in order to achieve national carbon reduction targets and underscored the importance of innovative technologies for addressing the climate crisis and building a sustainable future.

This conference was jointly hosted by the International ESG Association and the Korea University Global Biochar & Climate Solutions Center under the theme, “Soil Assetization: Sustainable Biochar Market Development and Commercialization for Achieving ESG Goals.”
