One Law Partners advised Hansung Haram Co., Ltd., a leading garment company in Korea, in connection with a buyout of the 45% equity stake held by a minority shareholder in the company’s Vietnamese subsidiary. 

One Law Partners coordinated the services of Vietnamese co-counsel to provide effective and timely advice to the client in connection with the drafting and negotiation of the definitive agreement as well as assistance with the closing.  In particular, One Law Partners performed “outside general counsel” function in an effective manner for the client, in assisting the client’s senior management and working level personnel to identify and successfully deal with transactional and other local law-related issues, as well as Korean law issues pertaining to foreign direct investment, in connection with the project.
